Thank you Tennyson!

Stonepillow would like to send out a big thank you to everyone at Tennyson Insurance for their support so far this year.

Tennyson Insurance Limited is a company based in Drayton house in Chichester. We are very fortunate that this year they have selected us as ‘their charity’ for the year as this means that they will donate all their fundraising time and money to support our work with homeless and vulnerable people.

Liz Robinson from Tennyson has promoted our work to her colleagues and she has motivated a fantastic team of volunteers to fundraise for us. Amongst other activities, her team has already organised dress-down work days, fun days and even skydiving days to raise money for Stonepillow!

But we are not only grateful for their financial contributions; the team at Tennyson Insurance have also demonstrated that they are supportive people who believe in helping practically where they see that we are struggling.

Two weeks ago, our Night Refuge garden was a hub of gardening activity; grass was cut, edges trimmed, weeds pulled and that was only the Managing Director and his two children! In the evening even more volunteers arrived and worked in our Young Asylum Seekers Hostel’s garden, doing a fantastic job to spruce up the area for the benefit of the young people living there.

Now, this might seem simple to you but the message they have given our clients and our Staff is more complex. They have practically demonstrated to us, with their own two hands, that they care enough to spend some of their own time to help in any way possible the most vulnerable individuals in their local community.

Their help is so vital to us and we simply cannot thank them enough for their support.

Tennyson is an organisation that values their Staff enough to encourage them to be socially responsible and to act upon their collective objective to be:

“A company that contributes to their community and that treats each individual with respect.”

From all of us at Stonepillow, thank you Tennyson!
